Meet Kathleen Lawrence, Public Interest and Clinical Teaching Fellow

Jump into a career in public interest law. But start by meeting Kate Lawrence. She'll be in UP this Friday, August 31 in Beam 230 to answer your questions about public interest law opportunities for law students.

Say Hello to Prof. Bridges

The PSU Dickinson Faculty is proud to welcome Professor Katrice Bridges. Prof. Bridges is top 'o the class graduate of University of Michigan law school. She clerked for judges on the Sixth Circuit and the Northern District of Illinois. She chose the academic life over high level practice at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington D.C. where she specialized in constitutional litigation and corporate and white collar criminal defense.

When you say hello to Prof. Bridges, be sure to ask her: "White Sox or Cubs?"

Spare Time? What Spare Time?

So, here you are in University Park. What do law students do for fun? That depends, of course, on who you ask. Dean McC might suggest a visit to the new building webcam. I recommend a stress busting workout followed by a ginormous ice cream cone at the beautiful Berkey Creamery just a couple of blocks away. If you need your tunes and you like them for free, check out Ruckus, PSU's free downlad source for students.
So what do you do for fun?

Welcome Friends

Welcome to Law School, and welcome to the University Park Law School community.
